Hi, I'm Allison
My Hi there! I’m Allison McCaughey, and I’m passionate about performing, choreographing, and directing. I also founded FlyBy Theatre, an arts education program that focuses on discovering the heart of creativity. I love sharing this journey with others!
Background
I’m originally from Toronto, Canada, and I’ve been lucky enough to call myself a theatre artist for over 20 years! After graduating from musical theatre school, I performed in various theatres across Canada and even toured the USA, which was such an amazing experience. As I continued on my journey, I found myself becoming more and more intrigued by the creative process. That’s when I decided to head back to university and earn a master’s degree in choreography. It’s been quite the adventure!
Currently
Today, I get to perform, direct, choreograph, teach, and create welcoming spaces filled with kindness and integrity. One of my absolute favorite things about being an artist is collaborating with others to bring beautiful work to life!
